Maintenance Assistant

Springs Village Care Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the facility operates smoothly by supporting maintenance activities that keep our environment safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairing and servicing equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections to identify issues before they escalate.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Assist with building repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and grounds keeping as needed.
• On call availability 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

• Competitive pay rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. (Based off of experience)
