Java, Java EE, and Spring Framework: strong expertise in developing scalable applications using Java 17 and Java EE. Front‑end Development: experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular. Database and API Development: proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python for backend logic and integrations. Cloud & AWS: hands‑on experience with AWS services, cloud‑based architectures, and infrastructure as code. Agile Development & Testing: experience working in Agile environments using SAFe methodology, with proficiency in tools such as Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright. Security Best Practices: knowledge of secure coding principles and vulnerability mitigation. Soft Skills
Problem‑Solving & Analytical Thinking: identify and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently; design and implement innovative solutions to complex problems. Collaboration & Teamwork: work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and delivery; participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups and sprint planning. Communication Skills: clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders; conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Continuous Learning & Improvement: stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices; maintain and update project documentation to improve development processes. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Five or more years of hands‑on experience with Java, Java EE, Spring, and front‑end technologies such as ReactJS or Angular. Experience with AWS and cloud‑computing technologies. Experience with SAFe/Agile development practices. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Additional Qualifications
Experience working as a tech lead on software development projects. Government contractor experience is a plus; prior experience with Veterans Affairs is an extra preference.
