Provide a
Network
Engineer
to complete the replacement of 50 end-of-life
network
switches across EMEA colocation sites. Candidate should be located in the 1CP office to stay in close proximity to stakeholders whose applications run on these EOL switches, along with the Specialized Infra EMEA Lead. Preconfigure devices in the lab. Work with remote hands to rack devices. Raise change requests, communicate with stakeholders, and obtain approval for migrations within agreed windows. Migrate connections from old to new devices during agreed weekend windows with remote hands support. Perform necessary checks and be prepared for start-of-week validation on Sunday should any issues arise. Coordinate decommissioning, un-racking, and disposal of old equipment. Track progress in a centralized tracking sheet. Candidate should demonstrate a positive attitude, strong collaboration skill...
