Availability: Summer or Year-Round Project Description: Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a motivated intern to support Learning and Development and Instructional Design initiatives in our Charlotte, NC office. The selected candidate will contribute to a broad range of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and conveyance projects in a learning support capacity. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across Hazen and Sawyer while developing skills in learning logistics and a variety of instructional tools and applications. Key Responsibilities Develop learning content using Articulate 360 Support the Lunchtime Webinar Program, including speaker outreach, scheduling, publishing, and moderating live webinars Issue Continuing Education Certificates Maintain and update Learning & Development SharePoint sites, including postings and calendar invitations Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor's or master's program in adult learning, professional education, leadership development, instructional design, and/or learning technologies. Experience with all phases of the instructional design process: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation Ability to clearly articulate training goals, methodologies, and approaches when working with subject matter experts Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with strong networking skills Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Experience with a Learning Management System (Workday preferred) Microsoft SharePoint site editing experience GoToWebinar administration experience What We Offer Competitive starting pay, commensurate with skills, experience, education, and geographic location Professional guidance and career counseling Direct mentorship from experienced professionals Exposure to multiple disciplines within the water and environmental consulting industry Potential opportunity for full-time employment upon graduation
