Your new company Your new company is a busy and growing organisation, known for its strong client base and involvement across multiple projects, operating in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficient financial management and continuous process improvement. Your new role As Bookkeeper, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing weekly payroll and ROS submissions, and ensuring timely and accurate Revenue and statutory returns. You will oversee credit control, issue client invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments. You will also prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts, manage banking activities, and complete bank reconciliations. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to streamline systems and improve financial processes. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance role, with strong experience in VAT, payroll, and Revenue compliance. You will be proficient in accounting and payroll software, along with strong Excel and Outlook skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working on their own initiative while improving existing systems.
