The Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Formulation department, ensuring production schedules and KPIs are consistently achieved. This role drives a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance while leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and product quality. This position reports to the Manufacturing Operations Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Operations team located in Lismeehan, Co. Clare, Ireland, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead daily operations within the Formulation department. Set and manage daily, weekly, and monthly priorities aligned with production schedules and KPIs Lead tier meetings and represent the department in cross-functional team meetings Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (including 4E) Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team through structured performance management Collaborate cross-functionally to align materials, staffing, and resources with production requirements Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, DIVE, PSP) Support and deliver projects that improve operational performance and efficiency The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors degree (Level 8) in a relevant discipline, with supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable. Strong technical expertise with hands-on laboratory experience. Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Oracle or equivalent) Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma in a production environment Knowledge of quality systems and experience supporting audit readiness in regulated manufacturing It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Formulation, conjugation and diagnostic manufacturing systems (SAMS, Carts, PMP Manufacture) Benefits: Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care Performance Bonus
