About
The DBA serves as primary support for parish technology platforms and will provide customizations and technical training for parish and administrative staffs across all entities in the diocese.
Applicants must have:
· A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
· A minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience
· Solid understanding of database management, including backups, security, data integrity, optimization, and query performance tuning
· Strong background in database administration and relational database concepts, data warehousing, and ETL processes
· Proficiency with BI and analytics platforms, reporting tools, and decision support systems including Power BI
· Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
· Proficiency in SQL or other query languages; familiarity with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and PHP preferred
· Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, and data security best practices
· Experience with enterprise ticketing systems, remote support tools, and project management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with Ministry Platform or similar parish applications is strongly preferred.
