Project Manager Position Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
The project manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure project goals are met. Determine and define project scope and objectives Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements Track project costs to meet budget Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution Monitor progress and adjust as needed Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement Other duties may be assigned
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers Ability to communicate with the electronic engineers' team Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology required with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Proven ability to solve problems creatively Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Microsoft Project), methodologies, and best practices Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Experience working with customers, sales, and engineering teams Innovative thinker and problem solver. Willingness to push for better solutions Professional English in written and verbal form; professional presentation skills Ability to travel 25% of the time
