*The Role*
We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our expanding support team.
You’ll work closely with the wider support team and Technical Lead to ensure we continue delivering a high standard of service as the business grows. This is a varied role that combines technical problem-solving, customer communication, and infrastructure management.
Following your initial onboarding period, this role will become hybrid. Our office is based in Manchester City Centre.
*Working Hours*
Standard hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, with flexibility available where needed.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Deliver IT support to clients via phone, email, and live chat
* Take ownership of support tickets and ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs
* Maintain high internal KPI standards around responsiveness and efficiency
* Manage client onboarding and offboarding processes
* Support and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and client infrastructure environments
* Perform routine maintenance across network, workstation, cloud, and cyber security platforms
* Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate while maintaining ownership of the customer experience
* Deliver a professional, friendly, and high-quality customer experience at all times
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to continuously improve support processes and standards
*Skills & Experience*
*Essential:*
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an MSP or IT Service Provider
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows environments, and general IT infrastructure
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Experience using MSP support tools, ticketing systems, and remote management platforms
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
*Desirable:*
* Extensive networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
* Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, SharePoint, or Entra ID
* Exposure to cyber security tools and best practices
* Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical accreditations
