Shift: Mon to Friday Hours: 7am - 3pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with QMAP certification to join our healthcare team within a correctional setting. This position provides essential direct care services, supports medication administration, and promotes the overall health, safety, and well-being of incarcerated individuals.

This role requires professionalism, strong ethical standards, and the ability to work effectively in a structured environment within a correctional facility environment.

Direct Care & Clinical Support

• Obtain and record vital signs accurately.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with intake screenings, transfers, and discharge preparation as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Medication Administration (QMAP Duties)

• Administer medications as delegated by licensed nursing staff in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records (MAR).
• Monitor for medication side effects and promptly report concerns.
• Ensure secure storage and accountability of medications.

Safety & Security Awareness

• Maintain situational awareness and adhere to all facility safety and security protocols.
• De-escalate situations professionally using communication and approved intervention techniques.
• Conduct routine environmental rounds to promote cleanliness and safety.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

Infection Control & Compliance

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and confidentiality requirements
