Job Description Provides expert guidance on workforce and HR data reporting, independently collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting specialized HR data sets such as recruitment, staffing, retirement, and separations. Conducts data collection, manipulation/cleansing, and analysis; develops data visualizations; develops and tests hypotheses to generate reports and to develop compelling stories that convey statistical information to non-technical audiences. Serves as a resource to Federal and contractor staff on data science and may be called upon to assume responsibility for developing project planning, coordinating overall team efforts, and maintaining appropriate lines of communication. Acts periodically as a technical advisor with other CMS centers and offices on relevant workforce and HR data issues; responsive to inquiries from stakeholders and communicates findings and complex technical program information to various audiences.
