We seek a talented Staff Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our platform's performance advertising capabilities. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize attribution models, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing campaign effectiveness. Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities Develop and implement advanced data solutions supporting billing, reporting and any other systems within the team's scope. Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to refine and improve data processes. Design and maintain scalable and optimized data pipelines for efficient collection, processing, and storage of data. Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to validate and iterate on data processes. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineer and ad tech. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Data Science, or a related field. Requires at least 8 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years Proven experience in delivering data engineering solutions in ad tech industry. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and Scala. Experience in working with Kubernetes and stream data processing frameworks (Flink, Apache Ignite) Proficient in working with big data technologies and databases (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and MapReduce). Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or similar Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with relevant tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Skills and Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with RESTful API. Experience with Golang Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming technologies. Knowledge of end-to-end digital advertising ecosystems and industry standards. Knowledge of Snowflake and related technologies Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $190,000 ~ $215,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
