About
The Brokerage Analyst Government Services will assist with execution and management of commercial real estate transactions, including supporting the identification of business opportunities and maintaining client relationships. The Analyst will perform financial analysis and prepare client reports, pitches and proposals, with a primary focus on the day-to-day transaction support and government leasing process management.
Position Essential Functions
- Work with senior broker to support business development activities through market research, tracking opportunities, and assisting with marketing and client presentations.
- Provide clients with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and financial analyses to assist in the decision-making process.
- Explain both private sector and government sector leasing process to prospective and current clients.
- Explain both private sector and government sector rent structures and financial analyses to prospective and current clients.
- Compile property data for clients, such as summary reports, maps, status updates, and industry/market-specific information.
- Monitor Government Procurement websites (e.g. SAM.gov) for opportunities for the current and prospective clients and assist in tracking and maintaining a pipeline of active pursuits.
- Review and analyze Government Budgets.
- Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) and assist in the organization, coordination and reviews of RFP responses.
- Analyze data and prepare real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons.
- Support transaction execution by tracking deal progress, coordinating deliverables, and assisting with due diligence and contract documentation.
- Report and update senior broker on potential deals being generated, issues/concerns, and next steps through monitoring of various sources including SAM.gov.
- Draft correspondence to existing and prospective clients.
- Engage in the local community and industry events to support relationship building and market awareness.
Position Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with emphasis in real estate, accounting, finance or related field.
- A real estate license within applicable state(s) and maintained in good standing throughout employment.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of real estate or related experience preferred (preferably in a Government sector brokerage.)
- Working knowledge of GSA leasing procurement process (or willingness to learn).
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.
- Knowledge of CoStar and other related CRE listing software.
- Experience with identifying and tracking opportunities on SAM.gov preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to provide general direction/be self-managed/work independently.
- Ability to think critically.
- Ability to utilize Ai effectively and intentionally while preserving independent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal and external clients.
- Ability to keep information and internal communications confidential.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Potential travel approximately 1 2 times a quarter.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
