Athens, Ohio is located in the Eastern part of the state, flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh is just over the state line) and Northern West Virginia and less than 2 hours East of Columbus, OH.
Start Date: ASAP - Pending Credentialing
Shift: Varied - 24-hour in house coverage with weekend requirements. (Flexible scheduling to create work/life balance for you)
Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This cost-effective, cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaboration with community OBs in a highly supportive and cohesive group
- Ensure continuity, quality and safety
- Real-time communication with office physicians of triage visits, new issues and deliveries
- Improved outcomes, enhanced experience and reduced costs
- Multidisciplinary OB critical care
- 24-hour in house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
- Management of OB/GYN ER patients
Requirements
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- OH License Preferred or Active IMLC
- Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience
