At Southern NH Medical Center, our Environmental Services team are the unsung heroes behind the scenes. They provide more than just cleanliness; they create a safe sanctuary where patients can recover, staff can thrive, and everyone can feel protected. Through meticulous care and attention to detail, our team helps prevent infections, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and promote the well-being of all who walk through hospital doors. Their work is vital in creating trust, comfort, and ultimately, better health outcomes because a clean, safe environment is where healing begins.

Working alongside hospital staff, maintaining a clean environment throughout medical center. Reports to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs environmental service duties as assigned and in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department.

Maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition

Arranges and/or transports furniture, equipment, and supplies

Notes and reports items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction

Assists in care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies

Basic knowledge equivalent to completion of two to four years of High School required. Health care support services and/or environmental services, hospitality, or related field preferred
