General Assistant

Full-Time RDA needed for busy fun and friendly dental office. You can fully utilize your RDA skills, and Dental Assistant skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists.

Pay Range: $23.00 to $28.00 per / hr (based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting Sealants, if applicable

Education and/or Experience:

Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred BIlingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification required Current BLS certification Sealant Certification, preferred
