About
The Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Solution Architect leads the enterprise-wide architecture, development strategy, and technical governance for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform within the global Salesforce Center of Excellence. This role ensures scalable, performant, integrated e-commerce capabilities that support Clarios’ digital commerce initiatives across D2C/B2C channels.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)Platform Architecture & Development- Design, code, and implement new features and functionalities on SFCC following Clarios development standards and SFRA best practices.
- Serve as the technical expert for SFCC, with deep knowledge of front-end, back-end, and platform architecture.
- Ensure e-commerce solutions are scalable, high-performing, and aligned with industry standards.
- Architect and manage integrations between SFCC and systems such as Order Management, ERPs, inventory, and fulfillment solutions via APIs.
- Use version control (Git) and DevOps tools (e.g., Copado) to maintain development quality and code lifecycle consistency.
- Participate in code reviews, including vendor-developed components, ensuring adherence to technical guidelines.
- Provide L3 support, debugging and resolving complex technical defects.
- Mentor support teams to strengthen technical capabilities.
- Stay current with platform enhancements, new Salesforce releases, and emerging e-commerce technologies.
- Partner with product managers, business teams, designers, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities across a global environment.
- Stable, scalable, and high-performance SFCC platform supporting D2C/B2C channels.
- High-quality technical solutions delivered within agreed timelines.
- Successful integration and alignment with surrounding systems (OMS, ERP, inventory, fulfillment).
- Well-documented architectures, user stories, and technical designs.
- Strong stakeholder satisfaction, driven by collaboration and clear technical leadership.
- A support organization equipped to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Technical Leadership & Architecture: Ability to define and guide e-commerce platform architecture.
- Advanced Problem-Solving: Strong analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex software challenges.

- Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Strong experience with server-side and client-side JavaScript; HTML, CSS, JSON, jQuery, Node.js.
- Experience with ISML templates, web services (SOAP/REST), XML, and web analytics.
- Familiarity with Git, Copado, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of scalable web-based architectures and digital commerce components (catalog, pricing, inventory, payment).
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager and Page Designer (preferred).
- Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (plus).
- 3+ years in SFCC (SFRA) development.
- Demonstrated expertise in SFCC architecture and e-commerce solution development.
- Proven web development and digital commerce experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team.
