Accounting Manager Are you a Qualified Accountant ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are seeking an ambitious and driven Accounting Manager to join a progressive and technology-driven accountancy practice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping systems, mentoring a team, and contributing to the strategic growth of a modern firm. This is a permanent, full-time position offering strong career progression and real autonomy. This role is primarily remote, with an initial onboarding period in Balbriggan and occasional office visits required throughout the year for team and client meetings. For You: Fully Remote Salary: €75,000 per annum + performance-based bonus Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday Friday) Key Responsibilities: Review and sign off on statutory accounts and tax work Oversee corporation tax, income tax, and VAT compliance Maintain high technical standards across the firm Manage workflow, deadlines, and capacity planning Coach, mentor, and develop team members Support ongoing CPD and technical development within the team Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify advisory and tax planning opportunities Support proposal development and pricing improvements Contribute to achieving KPIs and improving margins Assist in scaling systems and processes as the firm grows Manage a portfolio of clients Essential Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) Minimum 5+ years experience in Irish accountancy practice Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice Strong experience reviewing accounts and tax returns Confident handling Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT queries Proven ability to manage deadlines and mentor team members Strong knowledge of cloud accounting systems CTA qualification or strong tax expertise is a distinct advantage Practicing Certificate is desirable (full support provided to obtain within 12 months if not already held) Excellent communication and leadership skills Benefits: Performance-based annual bonus Additional bonus linked to EBITDA targets Company pension Paid CPD and professional subscriptions Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing investment in training and development Equipment provided Travel expenses covered Clear progression pathway as the firm continues to grow If you are a motivated and experienced Accounting professional looking for a leadership opportunity within a modern and growing practice, we encourage you to apply.
