Maitech Industrial Services Role:Service Engineer Location:Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland Salary:Starting at €48,000 per annum + Overtime(increasing with experience) About the Company Maitech is a supplier of process products and services to the dairy, food, beverage, brewery, and pharmaceutical industries throughout Ireland. All employees are based in Waterford with most work taking place in the Munster and Leinster regions This work involves some overtime, weekend work and overnight stays What Maitech Does Equipment and components (new and refurbished) Spare parts Equipment maintenance services (scheduled & breakdown) Equipment testing and validation Projects & commissioning Plate heat exchanger integrity testing and refurbishment Qualifications & Requirements Full driving licence (essential) Any relevant mechanical experience All training provided Principal Duties Carry out service, maintenance, and commissioning work at customer sites across Ireland and in the Waterford workshop Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard Follow all agreed procedures Contribute to the development and growth of the company Key Tasks Service, commission, and repair equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and homogenisers Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Attend regular service meetings Maintain clear communication with the service team Complete and submit all paperwork (service reports, timesheets, expenses) Key Attributes Strong attention to detail Ability to work and learn independently Flexible and adaptable Conscientious with a strong work ethic Friendly and personable
