Job Title: Design Support AdministratorJob Location: Akron, OhioJob Type: Full-TimeThe Design Support Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the design team, ensuring projects, documentation, schedules, and communications are organized and completed efficiently. They will coordinate between designers, clients, vendors, and internal departments to support smooth project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize design project files, drawings, specifications, and records Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and deadlines Prepare presentations, reports, and design documentation Assist with vendor communications and schedulesTrack project progress and update project management systems Support designers with administrative tasks and workflow coordination Handle client correspondence and meeting minutes Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards Manage databases, material libraries, and design assets Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking Required Skills & QualificationsStrong design software knowledge (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in administrative support, project coordination, or design environments Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace Attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting architecture, interior design, graphic design, or engineering teams Familiarity with design documentation and project lifecycle processes
