Flagger

Job Summary:  

The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public by directing traffic around road construction sites. This position requires someone who is attentive, responsible, and capable of maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Functions: 

1. Safety always wins.  Continuously monitor and evaluate traffic patterns and work zone conditions, making necessary adjustments to ensure a safe environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or incidents to a supervisor.
2. Focused.  Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic using appropriate hand signals, signage, and communication tools to maintain safe and efficient movement through the work zone.
3. Committed to serve.  Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades, in accordance with established standards.
4. Communicate.  Collaborate and communicate clearly with fellow flaggers and construction personnel to ensure coordinated traffic control and overall site safety.

Compensation details: 25-32.5 Hourly Wage
