We are looking for a Senior Associate to support deal execution and portfolio management at Gate Ventures. This position involves hands‑on sourcing, diligence, and working closely with Partners on high‑impact investments. Key Responsibilities
Source potential investments through network, research, and proactive outreach. Conduct in-depth due diligence on protocols, teams, markets, and token models. Build financial models, analyze on‑chain data, and prepare investment memos. Support deal negotiation, term sheet drafting, and closing processes. Monitor and support existing portfolio companies, including performance tracking and founder assistance. Contribute to market research, thesis development, and internal reporting. Assist in pipeline management and weekly updates on opportunities. Qualifications and Requirements
3–5 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, or crypto operations/research (prior crypto VC or protocol experience strongly preferred). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in on‑chain tools (e.g., Dune, Nansen), token economics, and market trend analysis. Demonstrated ability to evaluate early‑stage crypto projects and identify emerging narratives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing investment recommendations. Crypto‑native mindset with active participation in the ecosystem (e.g., contributions to protocols, public writing, or community involvement). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; CFA or similar a plus. Location
