What You Will Do As the Finance Learner you’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting the Finance and Accounting teams by digging into financial data, performing variance analysis, and helping deliver clear, actionable reporting. You’ll have the chance to streamline processes, improve data flows across the business, and make recommendations that boost efficiency. Along the way, you’ll learn how to analyze an income statement, interpret variances, and update key financial reports that help business leaders understand performance and make smart, data‑driven decisions.
Responsibilities
Support monthly forecasting and reporting, including variance analysis that helps explain what drove performance.
Assist with month‑end close tasks, helping ensure numbers are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
Dig into financial data to help clean, organize, and validate information that powers core reporting and analysis.
Build and update financial models or dashboards used by the team and business leaders to make informed decisions.
Collaborate with teams across the business (Ops, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) to gather inputs, spot inconsistencies, and improve how data flows between systems.
Identify process improvements and share ideas that make financial workflows faster, clearer, or more automated.
Contribute to budgeting and planning cycles.
Run ad‑hoc analysis to answer real business questions—everything from cost trends to margin insights to project‑level performance.
Who You Are
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or recently graduated.
Strong interest in understanding how finance drives real business decisions.
Comfortable working with numbers and data in Excel.
Comfort working with datasets, performing validation, and applying analytical methods to draw insights and deliver recommendations.
Curious, detail‑oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper to understand the “why.”
Able to work both independently and in a team setting, with good communication skills.
Organized and reliable—you can manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
Excited to learn financial modeling, reporting, and how an FP&A team operates inside a growing company.

The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours
This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non‑exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full‑time opportunity based on business needs
