About
The Associate Software Engineer will work with an experienced team in a fast-paced, Agile environment to deliver business critical projects. The successful candidate will be able to:
Collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
Demonstrate knowledge of relational databases, SQL and Java.
Rapidly learn new technologies including data engineering and AI systems.
Responsibilities
Work within the team developing and supporting data transformation and analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners.
Design and implement new solutions.
Maintain existing solutions.
Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space.
Peer review software changes by other developers.
Provide technical input to the team on development.
Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout.
Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements.
Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
Optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
0-1 year experience with languages: Java or Python.
0-1 year experience with relational databases.
0-1 year experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot.
Basic Knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices, preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods.
Repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and fingers.
Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
High-speed internet access and reliable office setup.
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Compensation:
Base compensation ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by factors such as experience, education, skills, and certifications.
