We are looking for a dedicated Traffic Engineer to join our team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you’ll contribute to various aspects of traffic engineering, including transportation planning, traffic studies, and road safety assessments. As a part of our collaborative team, you'll handle traffic operations and analysis to develop solutions that promote efficiency and safety in transportation systems. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough traffic analysis and transportation planning to support projects Lead traffic studies, traffic impact assessments, and road safety evaluations Apply your expertise to improve traffic operations and identify solutions for transportation challenges Utilize traffic engineering software to analyze data and generate reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client needs Ensure high standards in technical reports and presentations Qualifications
Proven expertise in traffic analysis, operations, and transportation planning Experience conducting traffic studies and impact assessments Strong knowledge of road safety principles Proficiency in traffic engineering software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment Benefits
