We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our educational team, focusing on supporting students within school settings. *Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, incorporating evidence-based practices in pediatrics and early intervention
* Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions that promote functional communication skills across academic and social contexts
* Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines
* Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies and medical terminology standards
* Provide guidance on physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions for students with complex needs
*Experience*
* Prior experience working within school environments or educational settings is highly preferred
* Demonstrated expertise in pediatric speech therapy across diverse student populations
* Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology
* Proven ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective intervention strategies for early intervention programs
* Strong understanding of patient care principles tailored to children with communication challenges
* Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration involving educators, healthcare providers, and families
* Commitment to ongoing professional development in pediatrics, speech therapy techniques, and related fields
Pay: $35.21 - $42.40 per hour
