Procurement Systems Specialist - Remote
The Procurement Systems Specialist provides operational and analytical support for Ryder’s Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Vendor Management platforms. The role serves as a knowledgeable resource to internal stakeholders and suppliers, evaluating business processes, identifying systemic risks and inefficiencies, and working with senior team members to recommend solutions that improve operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial controls. The position is responsible for supporting the analysis of complex system and process issues and for driving continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supplier management functions. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and monitor end-to‑end P2P and vendor management workflows to identify systemic issues, control gaps, and process inefficiencies; develop recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience. Evaluate trends in system usage, inquiries, and recurring issues to determine root causes and propose corrective actions. Serve as a subject‑matter resource by providing guidance on procurement systems, vendor enablement, and policy interpretation to internal stakeholders. Administer and support designated Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) programs for office equipment leases and contract services at multiple field locations; review and analyze monthly supplier billings to identify material variances and assess financial impact. Participate in cross‑functional discussions on system enhancements, testing initiatives, and process governance, providing input that influences design and implementation decisions. Contribute to onboarding and training programs, identify training gaps, and recommend improvements based on operational analysis. Update and maintain user guides, SOPs, and reference materials, ensuring alignment with business policies and system controls. Additional Responsibilities

Professional relations: support and interact with users at all organizational levels. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in Procurement Systems (specifically Workday and VNDLY) or Information Technology. At least 1 year of experience facilitating remote training via Teams or similar platforms. Knowledge of P2P or VMS applications such as Workday or VNDLY – intermediate level. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or equivalent – intermediate level. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, or equivalent – beginner level. Basic knowledge of procurement and sourcing concepts – beginner level. Basic knowledge of accounting and finance concepts – beginner level. Compensation
Salaried position. Salary range: $64,000.00 to $66,000.00. Benefits
