Role Overview The Inventory Allocation Manager will lead our efforts to make inventory allocation smarter, faster, and more profitable. This role will oversee process, technology, and metrics to balance retail partner expectations, improve the buying experience on our website, and enhance overall business profitability.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end inventory allocation program across all channels.
Develop and maintain allocation performance metrics and dashboards in collaboration with operations and demand planning.
Lead the development of next-generation inventory allocation logic.
Manage a team of allocation coordinators for day-to-day operations.
Automate manual allocation workflows, contracting with programming tools.
Lead the Promise to Delivery (P2D) program, ensuring orders respect delivery promises.
Experiment with AI/ML approaches to improve allocation accuracy.
Design and deploy automated monitoring agents to flag inventory issues.
Collaborate with retail partners to enforce allocation commitments.
Document allocation logic as version-controlled processes.
Travel Requirements Occasional travel to North York, ON headquarters may be required.
Skills & Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory allocation or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of inventory and financial metrics.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analytics.
Familiarity with ERP systems and order management workflows.
Experience in automating manual processes.
Self-directed and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred)
Exposure to machine learning concepts.
Familiarity with optimization techniques for supply chain problems.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted productivity tools.
Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $72,500 to $108,700 annually (CAD).
