Overview We are recruiting for a Network/Communications Engineer to support military customers in Jacksonville, North Carolina; Beaufort, South Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; and Albany, Georgia. Our customer supports the US Marine Corps with engineering, furnishing, installing, securing, testing (EFIST) and making operational a modern network infrastructure by providing all equipment, labor, training, software, firmware, licenses, power, interfaces, and documentation to make our solutions truly turnkey.
The Network/Communications Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and configuration of networking hardware and software for the creative, innovative, and thoughtful technical solutions for our customer’s client base. And will work hand in hand with other technical engineers and the Lead Systems Engineers to execute accepted solutions with new and existing clients.

Support verification site surveys at government installations on the East coast of the United States in order to identify and document the current network infrastructure installed to ensure the technical solution meets the customer requirement
Support the Senior Network/Communications Engineers in implementing the technical solutions for new and existing clients
Provide feedback to the Senior Network/Communications Engineers on improvements to the technical solutions being implemented
Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventory and documentation for network infrastructure installations
Configuration of network routing and switching equipment
Understanding of networking technologies, topologies, and protocols. (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, Ethernet) knowledge of GPON is a plus
Hands-on experience in implementing, operating and troubleshooting IP-based Data networks (LAN/WAN/MAN) using Cisco IOS
Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently in a global team environment
Exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
Strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team
Independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environments
Qualifications Skills/Qualifications:
Self-Motivated and Self-Monitoring, Exceptional Oral and Written Communications, Technical Communication, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking. Proficient with MS Office 365, MS Project at a minimum.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in a Technology related field.
3 years experience in telecommunications and networking experience.
3 years experience delivering solutions to government clients.
Cisco CCNA, CCNP Certification is desired.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift and/or move parts up to 40lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move parts up to 50lbs.
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for the majority of working hours.
Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reaching overhead when reaching out or moving items.
Frequently use arms, hands, and fingers to grasp, moving of items.
Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active Secret Security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Travel : 30% travel and work in Albany, GA, Camp Lejeune, Beaufort, SC and Parris Island, Jacksonville, FL.
Pay will be based on position and experience level:
$125,000-$150,000/year: Senior level
$70,000 -$100,000/year: Intermediate level
