The Senior Data Architect will play a key role in transforming business processes, optimizing data-driven solutions, and leading enterprise-scale cloud and data projects. Responsibilities: Design and develop
Azure-based data solutions , including
Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks . Lead
SQL modernization and on-prem-to-cloud migrations , ensuring high availability and performance. Architect
medallion data models (bronze, silver, gold tiers)
and implement
Data Mesh and Data Warehouse solutions
in Azure. Automate
CI/CD pipelines, data workflows, and infrastructure deployments
using
Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Optimize
ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and real-time data streaming
solutions. Collaborate with
business and engineering teams
to define
data strategies, best practices, and cloud governance policies . Ensure
data security, compliance, and governance
within the
Azure ecosystem . Provide
technical leadership and mentorship , conducting
workshops on Azure data architecture and cloud modernization . Qualifications: 6+ years of experience
in
Azure data architecture, cloud data engineering, and enterprise-scale data solutions . Expertise in
Microsoft Azure services , including
Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, and SQL Managed Instances . Strong knowledge of
data modeling, ETL/ELT strategies, and cloud-based data storage solutions . Experience with
SQL optimization, performance tuning, and database administration in Azure . Hands-on experience with
Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) . Ability to design
scalable and secure cloud architectures
