As the Staff Reliability Engineer, you will
Improve Reliability Engineering policies, standards, and scalable methodologies aligned with industry best practices and ISO9001 compliance
Lead and sponsor FMEA, FTA, Hazard Analysis, and system safety efforts
Design and analyze reliability tests (ALT, HALT, degradation, life data)
Develop Weibull and degradation‑based life models
Perform regression and statistical modeling to predict product life and failure modes
Translate field and lab data into reliability growth actions
Drive end‑to‑end program reliability by integrating predictive modeling, risk assessment, and test strategies
Lead and audit DFR activities to connect risk analysis with quantitative validation and field performance data
Apply advanced reliability engineering and statistical modeling to transform degradation data, test outcomes, and field returns into targeted, actionable design improvements
Who you are and the experience you bring
Bachelors in STEM with 8+ years of progressive reliability experience
Demonstrated ability to build and interpret life prediction models (Weibull, lognormal, degradation‑based approaches)
Influence and align cross‑functional teams with competing priorities to drive cohesive decisions and forward progress
Lead integration of risk analysis outputs (FMEA/FTA) into quantitative validation strategies
Apply advanced statistical analysis using tools to derive failure mode parameters (β, η) and drive high‑impact engineering decisions
Coach and mentor engineers on reliability methodologies, statistical modeling, and data interpretation
Ability to translate complex engineering challenges using diverse analytical techniques, anticipate risks, and incorporate customer feedback from global stakeholders to guide design direction
Location Hanover, NH or Kent, WA
Travel Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%)
Preferred experience that differentiates you
Experience in related industry (welding, plasma cutting, laser, power supply)
Black Belt Certification; ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Proven ability to develop reliability growth models and degradation‑based life prediction methods
Background in high‑power electronics, power supplies, welding, plasma cutting, or related industrial equipment

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
