Start date: February 2026. Contract type: Contractor – Indefinite. Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST – 100% Remote.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes within the Snowflake Data Cloud, ensuring performance and scalability.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations for analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data models, schemas, and integration logic.
Work with AWS or Azure services for data ingestion, orchestration, and automation (Lambda, S3, Data Factory, etc.).
Support data quality, validation, and documentation to ensure reliable business intelligence.
Contribute to process improvements, automation, and best practices within the data engineering team.
What You Need to Succeed – Must‑haves
2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Database Development.
Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, virtual warehouses, tasks, streams).
SnowPro Core Certification.
Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with Python, Airflow, or similar ETL/orchestration tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Advanced‑Bilingual English communication skills (written and spoken).
Nice‑to‑haves
Experience with dbt, Terraform, or CI/CD for data pipelines.
Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or analytics platforms.
Knowledge of data governance, security, or performance tuning in Snowflake.
Prior experience in remote, multicultural engineering teams.
