About
Job Description
Perform structural and civil engineering design for a range of projects (including buildings, bridges and marine structures) ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Analyse and model structures using current engineering software (such as SPACEGAS, MicronSTRAN, STRAND 7, E-TABS or S-FRAME).
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and detailed design documents.
Undertake structural detailing and coordinate with drafting CAD as required.
Supervise and monitor progress in construction works to ensure plans, specifications and safety standards are met.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
A minimum of four to six years of postgraduate experience in civil, structural, bridge or marine design projects (applications considered from graduates with relevant project experience).
Experience in the use of Structural analysis and design software is essential.
Willingness to travel and work on assignments throug out Fiji and South pacific region as required.
