About the Role: We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join us in building our next generation learning management system. You’ll work with a collaborative, fully remote group of engineers and product managers to ship high-impact features to our users. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable services using modern .NET and Entity Framework Contribute to API design and data modeling Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tools and GitHub Actions Advocate for clean architecture, automation, and observability in all aspects of development Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features in our LMS platform with an eye toward performance and user experience Know how and when to leverage AI and ML tooling for quality code generation, improving development workflows and ideation Operate within an agile framework focused on delivering best in class software Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural discussions What You’ll Bring: 3–5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies Proficiency in C#/NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server Familiarity with .NET Framework and VB.NET Frontend experience with React & TypeScript Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, ECR, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, particularly GitHub Actions as well as observability tooling like New Relic Capable of creating meaningful unit tests, experience with integration testing tools like Playwright Demonstrated use of AI tools in development workflows Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team-first mindset Passion for learning, clean code, and continuous improvement Preferences: Familiarity with e-learning standards such as SCORM and xAPI standards as well as Rustici SCORM Engine State management with Jotai and routing with TanStack Experience containerizing applications using Docker or Podman, with an understanding of image optimization and container lifecycle best practices At Noggin Guru, we believe in supporting our people with benefits that match our values.
