Role Description We are seeking a
Pathway Construction Engineer
to join our team in a full-time,
remote capacity . This is a career-defining opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, collaboration with design professionals, and working hands-on with contractors in the field, all in a remote capacity.
In this role, you will become one of the leading technical experts on Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate (OLSA), supporting landscape architects, civil engineers, contractors, and licensed dealers throughout the full project lifecycle. Your work will directly shape successful installations across North America—from concept and design review through construction and post-installation evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical support for landscape architects, civil engineers, contractors, and licensed dealers on all aspects of OLSA design and installation.
Conduct
site inspections, field reviews, and troubleshooting
to ensure proper installation and long-term performance.
Perform
specification reviews, detail assessments, and RFI responses
to guide optimal system design.
Deliver
online technical presentations, webinars, and product education sessions
for project teams and industry partners.
Oversee
materials QA/QC
and verify proper blending and material standards with licensed dealers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
Support the creation of
technical case studies , gathering installation photos, design details, and stakeholder interviews.
Contribute to internal product development feedback loops based on field performance and technical insights.
This role offers a high level of autonomy, direct engagement with leading design professionals, and the opportunity to directly influence the successful delivery of major public and private-sector projects.
Training Envirobond will offer an extensive paid training package to quickly bring the candidate up to speed on all technical aspects of the product, as well as the overall market in general.
Travel The candidate will be able to do much of the legwork from a home office, however periodic travel to visit sites around North America and abroad will be included.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong foundation in
civil engineering principles related to grading, drainage, stormwater, soils, and hardscape design .
Experience with
site inspections, field troubleshooting, and contractor coordination .
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information to non-engineers.
High level of initiative, organization, and independence—comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred
Professional Engineer (P.Eng or PE) designation or eligibility.
Experience with permeable surfaces, trail systems, landscape architecture projects, or sustainable site design.
Familiarity with landscape construction practices and materials QA/QC.
Experience delivering technical presentations or client-facing training sessions.
