We are looking for an Application Programmer to support the Office of Naval Research. The ideal candidate has experience with .NET and C# applications, development, and deployment and values collaboration. Responsibilities

Creating, testing, and implementing custom .NET and C# applications Working with Senior Software Developer and database technicians on code design, testing, deployment, etc. Analyzing, developing, and testing various programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs Creating and designing new software by debugging, analyzing, testing, assessing, and implementing programming applications and software code Supporting systems integration, testing, maintenance, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for applications based on the enterprise architecture Ensuring the availability and performance of a production application, addressing issues as they arise Preparing technical documentation on work accomplished Collaborating with a team of technical and functional individuals Resolving issues with applications that come up during testing or as a result of user feedback Striving to continuously improve service delivery Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities: Experience in .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript, and Oracle databases Willingness to take action to overcome challenges or obstacles and look for ways to improve results. Good attitude when working with others; able to understand direction and/or input from other people, including non-technical stakeholders or teammates. Desired Certification:
CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or CND Education and Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a minimum of 4 years of relevant, professional experience. Clearance:
This position requires an active
Secret
security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
