Key Responsibilities / What You Do
Direct and manage area operations, ensuring all requirements are resourced and executed in alignment with task order objectives.
Oversee and update personnel accountability systems, including the U.S. Army's SPOT (Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker) program.
Maintain current, accurate rosters of linguist personnel and their unit assignments; provide updates to RA/ACOR/COR upon request.
Serve as the key point of contact for your designated area, ensuring smooth coordination with government representatives.
Maintain visibility on linguist assignments, performance, and compliance within your operational zone.
Implement risk mitigation strategies and troubleshoot operational challenges on-site.
Support the Task Order Project Manager in task order execution through reporting, performance tracking, and local management oversight.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR a 20-year career in the U.S. Military (retired at E7 or higher) OR DAWIA Level II Project Management certification.
12 years of total management experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience within the last 10 years.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Prior experience managing operations or personnel in overseas contingency or OCONUS environments.
Strong organizational and communication skills, especially when navigating complex military or interagency environments.
Familiarity with SPOT or similar DoD accountability systems.
Background in linguist operations or managing contract staff in support of government programs.
High comfort level operating under pressure and in fast-moving operational theaters.
Previous experience working with linguist teams, recruiting pipelines, or foreign national support personnel is a plus.
