About the Role We are seeking a
Lead Developer (Amazon Connect)
to design and deliver
cloud-based contact center applications
leveraging AWS and Amazon Connect. The role is fully remote and ideal for a senior engineer with strong technical depth in
AWS cloud telephony and customer engagement platforms .
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement
Amazon Connect solutions
for call center operations.
Develop
IVR workflows , custom integrations, and serverless backends using AWS Lambda.
Collaborate with global teams to build, test, and deploy production-ready contact center applications.
Leverage
AWS native services
for scalability, security, and performance optimization.
Lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and ensure best practices across development cycles.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of total IT experience with a strong development background.
3+ years of experience working on
Amazon Connect
implementations.
Expertise in
AWS Cloud ecosystem
(Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
Strong understanding of
telephony concepts , call routing, and SIP protocols.
Experience integrating contact center systems with
CRM or ERP solutions .
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of
AI/ML integration , chatbots, or voice bots using Amazon Lex.
Hands-on experience with
automation, monitoring, and analytics tools
for contact centers.
