About

Overview Our client, a financially strong and innovative property & casualty insurer, is seeking a hands‑on Director of Data & Analytics to elevate the organization’s data maturity and lead enterprise‑level initiatives in governance, quality, and reporting. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping how data drives decision‑making across the business.
The Need As the company grows its analytics capabilities, it requires a proven leader who can connect the dots across departments, champion data quality, and help executives trust and act on what they see. You’ll inherit foundational tools, but your vision will define what comes next — particularly in terms of governance, structure, and enterprise reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives, establishing standards and best practices
Drive the development and use of dashboards to enable actionable insights
>Lead and manage a full Snowflake migration, ensuring scalability and modern cloud architecture Partner cross‑functionally with underwriting, product, actuarial, claims, and finance teams to align data strategy with business priorities
Build and lead a small but growing team of analysts and data professionals
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on data strategy, integrity, and value creation
What You Need to Succeed
8–12+ years of experience in data management, governance, and analytics
Prior experience in property & casualty insurance (required)
Strong experience leading Snowflake migration efforts and cloud data platforms
Proven track record in building data governance frameworks and scaling reporting functions
Experience managing or mentoring data/analytics teams
Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
