We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Implementation Manager to manage and oversee Cinnamon’s healthcare integration work. This role is responsible for handling the implementation logistics for HL7 interfaces, SFTP batch files, and VPN network connectivity to ensure a seamless experience between Cinnamon and the healthcare customers, IT teams, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
System Implementation
Lead the implementation of HL7 interfaces and SFTP batch file integrations with customer EHR systems Collaborate with healthcare customers to integrate solutions into their workflows effectively Lead troubleshooting efforts between Cinnamon and healthcare technical teams Coordinate testing and validation to ensure accurate data exchange and compliance with HIPAA and HITECH regulations Organize go-live support which includes documentation, issue resolution, and training Project Management
Oversee multiple implementation projects, ensuring on-time deliverables, scope control, and budget adherence Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, tasks, risks, and dependencies using JIRA Ensure project documentation is thorough, including ticket statuses, assignments, and blockers Standardize JIRA workflows and reporting to improve efficiency and transparency Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in system integration workflows Stakeholder Engagement
Identify key internal and external stakeholders and manage expectations effectively Develop and execute communication plans to ensure transparency in project progress Tailor communication to engage business leaders, end users, and technical teams Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, healthcare organizations, and third-party vendors Develop standardized project reporting dashboards (ex. JIRA reports, Confluence, Smartsheets) to communicate progress effectively Ensure project updates, risks, and blockers are proactively communicated through structured reporting and meetings Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field 5+ yrs experience in healthcare IT, system integration, or technical project management Experience managing JIRA/Smartsheet boards (or equivalent) and Agile workflows for tracking healthcare IT implementations Knowledge of healthcare data workflows (ex. Patient, Orders, Billing) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in system integration scenarios Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) and data privacy standards Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud-based healthcare integrations (ex. Google Cloud Platform / GCP) Working knowledge of networking concepts (VPNs, IP Addresses, Network Address Translation, etc) Familiarity with FHIR, X12, NCPDP, and other interoperability standards Knowledge of how Electronic Data Interchange engines (ex. Corepoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Ensemble) function at a high level Knowledge of EHR integration platforms (Epic Bridges, Cerner Open Engine, Meditech Data Repository) at a high level What We Offer
