About

We are seeking an experienced PRN *CT Technologist* to join our outpatient imaging team. In this collaborative environment, you can focus on your clinical expertise while delivering high‑quality imaging and exceptional patient care. The primary responsibility of this role is the timely and accurate performance of CT examinations, including obtaining patient histories and administering contrast under radiologist direction. All CT scans must be performed and all equipment operated to ensure there is no unnecessary radiation to patient, operator, or any persons who may be nearby.
This job requires an individual with good communication skills and the ability to work as a team member, coordinating job duties by the minute with other employees in the center. In this fast-paced Imaging Center, the employee must exhibit tolerance and the ability to deal constructively with stress. This person must be empathetic with regard to patient care and always make the patient's needs the number one priority.
Position Highlights
* Dedicated nursing support to start IVs, draw blood, and process lab work
* A team focused on patient screening and history collection
* Patients arrive fully prepped and ready for their procedure
Responsibilities:
* Perform CT exams consistently and efficiently
* Produce high-quality images following established protocols
* Provide excellent patient care and maintain patient comfort
* Obtain relevant patient medical history
* Administer contrast agents and follow radiologist protocols for imaging needs
* Work effectively as part of a fast-paced, high-performing team
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Current *ARRT(R)* certification
* *Texas Medical Board License*
* *CPR/BLS* certification
* Minimum *1 year of medical imaging experience* (CT experience preferred)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
* Availability to work *Monday–Friday* with *weekend availability*
