Description
- Operate various lift trucks; loading and unloading materials and deliveries, and moving product within the facility.
- Transport material and equipment according to production and shipping schedules.
- Unload and load trailers and straight trucks.
- Stack product in storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
- Ensure secure loads, complying with Company safety rules and regulations.
- Complete Daily Operator's Checklist for lift trucks.
- Inspect finished goods prior to loading for shipment, ensuring pallets and packaging are in excellent condition.
- Use RF guns to scan inventory, receive materials, update inventory, and scan and verify orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within dock, freezer and storage zones.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
Pay Range: Pay $18.00 - $20.50
Requirements
- Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Stand-up Forklift Experience required.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate forklift, and other heavy complex equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
- Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
- Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
- Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
- Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
