Frontend (Client-Side) These are used to build the part of a website users interact with:
HTML – Structure of the webpage
CSS – Styling and layout
JavaScript – Interactivity and dynamic content
Frameworks/Libraries:
React.js
Vue.js
Angular
Backend (Server-Side) Handles logic, database interactions, authentication, etc.
JavaScript (Node.js)
Python (e.g., with Django or Flask)
Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
PHP (still widely used, e.g., WordPress, Laravel)
Java (Spring Boot is common)
C# (ASP.NET Core)
Go (Golang – known for performance)
Databases (Not programming languages, but essential)
SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase)
Full-Stack A full-stack developer uses both frontend and backend tech. Popular full-stack combinations include:
