Job Schedule: 9/80 – Employees work 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours total) and have every other Friday off.
Job Description The Sr Time and Labor Analyst will manage the application, compliance, and posting/reconciliation of time and labor for designated divisions, including international groups. This includes root cause analysis, problem resolution, customer service, written and oral communication, understanding of company policies and federal and state laws, training, system testing, and time management. The role focuses on end‑to‑end evaluation, integration, and system improvement and works independently to make recommendations for solutions related to time and labor. The analyst serves as a liaison between payroll, HR/benefits, and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of time‑card related issues.
Essential Functions
Analyze and post labor to financial ERPs and payroll applications for assigned groups in accordance with company and regulatory requirements, including state, federal or global labor laws and policies.
Monitor and analyze payroll entries as needed, identifying, analyzing, and fixing root causes of issues and working with partners until resolved.
Proactively identify issues with the time‑card system to ensure compliance with FLSA laws, company policy and government requirements, and for identified issues write and convey requirements, formulate test cases, test, communicate, and implement.
Respond to inquiries from employees, other departments (payroll, compliance, audit, HR, etc.), and outside partners.
Actively participate in special projects as needed.
Collaborate with internal compliance in researching and providing records for audits, ensuring SOX controls are complete.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive implementation results.
Research and analyze time‑card data for company policy and legal compliance for responding to inquiries, trending, and root‑cause analysis of issues raised by employees, HR, legal, benefits, compensation, and payroll.
Recommend and implement process improvements and ensure consistency and collaboration among all team members.
Document processes and procedures and maintain them to increase efficiency and standardization in accordance with company policies and federal/state laws.
Leverage digital tools and AI technologies to automate time and labor processes, optimize reporting, and provide actionable insights; champion digital transformation and data‑driven decision‑making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field with 2 years minimum prior of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
Experience in T&L compliance, finance or payroll.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated practical experience in root cause analysis, analytical thinking, independent judgement, initiative, multi‑tasking, customer service, attention to detail, prioritization, flexibility, and teamwork.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Salary and Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $61,500–$114,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York State, and Vermont is $54,000–$100,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company‑paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
