About
Strong understanding of VB.NET syntax, data types, control structures, exception handling, etc
Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem (especially .NET Framework for legacy apps or .NET Core/.NET 5+ for modern development).
SQL: Writing queries, joins, stored procedures especially for Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience in Web Services/APIs – Consuming REST/SOAP APIs from VB .NET applications
Understanding the platform versions, assemblies, CLR and BCL (Base Class Library)
Familiarity with MSTest or NUnit
JavaScript, TypeScript, vue js
Angular 8+
Agile experience

Good communication and stakeholder management
Passion for engineering highly available, performant systems

Minimum of 5 years of practical software development experience
Robust understanding of .NET framework/.NET Core – Understanding the platform versions, assemblies, CLR and BCL (Base Class Library)
Advanced knowledge of object-oriented principles – solid grasp of object oriented principles – inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, encapsulation
Experience in querying databases. Understanding queues, stacks etc
Strong foundation in SDLC best practices including test-driven development, unit testing discipline, agile development, and CI/CD strategies
Good to know – JavaScript, TypeScript, vue js
Education:
B.E, B. Tech, MCA, MSc (CS) or equivalent
Working knowledge of building and deploying distributed systems a plus
