As the team is growing, we are looking for an experienced
Senior PHP Developer
(fully remote role).
Tasks About the Role:
You will be responsible for maintaining a legacy API built with CakePHP 2 and developing new microservices using API Platform and Symfony.
You Will:
Maintain and enhance legacy APIs built with CakePHP 2.
Design and develop new microservices using API Platform and Symfony.
Write and maintain unit and Behat tests to ensure code quality.
Collaborate with team members in an agile SCRUM environment.
Deploy and monitor applications using Docker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Work with PostgreSQL databases and Pub/Sub messaging services.
Requirements Your Profile:
The ideal candidate has strong backend experience, works well in an agile SCRUM environment, and is comfortable with modern development tools and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of professional experience as PHP Developer
Strong experience with PHP 8.3 and modern PHP frameworks (Symfony, API Platform).
Experience maintaining legacy codebases (CakePHP 2 preferred).
Familiarity with Docker, GCP, and microservice architecture.
Proficient with PostgreSQL and Pub/Sub.
Experience writing unit tests and Behat tests.
Good understanding of agile/SCRUM development practices.
