This Transporter opportunity is full time Monday - Friday at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day-shift schedule. This individual will work with imaging staff to coordinate the transportation and safety of our patient for their Imaging procedures. Greets and performs customer service responsibilities for patients and visitors. Responsible for monitor patient during studies while helping maintain supplies and equipment to patient care areas.
Job Duties:
- Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departments
- Maintains patient comfort, safety and privacy while transporting
- Notifies appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors

Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire date
- EMT 1 preferred
