Orthodontic Assistant

Smilebuilderz is looking for a full time ortho assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone who is a team player and enjoys working with kids. Previous orthodontic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients
• Chairside assisting
• Assisting the doctor during bonding procedures
• Changing out wires and brackets
• Adjusting retainer fit
• Assisting with taking and pouring of impressions
• Sterilization
• Taking digital radiographs
• Providing at-home instructions for proper orthodontic care

Requirements:

PA Radiology certification (required) High School Diploma or equivalent, strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Machines/Tools/Equipment: Computers, Dentrix software, Digital Radiographs and Panoramic/Cephalometric Machine, Impression Materials, Model Trimmer, Vacuform, Whitening equipment.
