NLP
What is NLP
NLP refers to Natural Language Processing, and is at the intersection of computer science, information engineering, artificial intelligence, and linguistics.
It constitutes an important branch of Machine Learning, and is the capacity of a machine to analyse and interpret natural human language. NLP involves areas such as speech recognition, natural language understanding, and natural language generation. It is used, for example, in Google Translate, chatbots, and even personal assistants such as Alexa and Siri.
It can also be used to identify common terms that users search for, and therefore help improve advertisements.
