Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur05:45 AM - 06:00 PMFri05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support controlled access procedures in accordance with post orders.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public officials as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
